I would say a 100' X 50' space or larger is needed if it's 1/10th or bigger. Lanes need to be at LEAST 6' wide, but that's tough to drive on so 8-10' wide is probably better for you. Then comes a lot of labor!!!!! I built a nice track at my house last summer between me and about 4 friends it took about two months to get it in real nice driving condition for the year. This year we probably have to put in another 1-2 months labor and it will be like a pro track. It's a LOT of HARD work. It takes hundreds, possibly thousands, of man hours to build a good track without any power equipment.
