Set the middle first either with mechanical linkage adjustment (preferred) or sub-trim. Then set the end points.
Ken and Bruce:
I am using separate channels for the flaps, and will do everything I can with the linkages to get things even before resorting to the adjustments within the radio. I just wasn't sure how to make any final "fine tuning" adjustments for the partial deployment setting.
I don't have the most nimble fingers in the world, and the mechanical adjustment on these is a pain for me. the flap servos are internally mounted on hatches, and the linkage is all internal. Not much room to work, and un-attaching/re-attaching the linkages to the servo arms in the hatch opening is very awkward.
When all is said and done, how close do the travels need to be to not induce roll when deployed? Should I be targeting +/- 1/16th? Less?
Thanks,
