DHC, those are the same strut covers that I used and they fit real nicely. Your T-28 is looking good...I like how your muffler shows very little, and only on the bottom. The "shocks" that connect my gear doors to the struts are some leftover aileron control horns from some old plane. I think a nylon clevis would work as well.
