Default RE: Covering Question

I love Ultracoat,
I hate Moneycoat,
BUT when I sanded a bit to much off from a balsa sheeted foam wing (I could see the blue foam thru the thinned out 1/16th balsa) I knew I had to use a low heat film to keep from melting the foam core.
At my local hobby shop they had some of Top Flite's Econo Kote for 8 bucks a roll. I bought 3 rolls and am just tickled pink with how it handled and looked when I got done.
225 degrees is what the instructions said and I used my temp guage and did as I was told. The foam was not damaged. It handled a lot like Ultracoat and nothing like that ucky moneycoat. So I covered my wing, didn't melt the foam, and got the covering way cheep. This is on an electric pylon racer so fuel will not be a problem and I think I just may buy some more and try it on a glow powered racer!
My only complaint is the difficulty encountered in getting the backing off but oh well ya just can't have everything.
