For instance... someone asked a little while ago about what the VXL motor was rated for. I looked on Traxxas website, downloaded the VXL motor manual and had the answer in 10 seconds. Was this hard? No... it was the natural place to look but it was still easier to ask here than to look it up for himself.
That's an interesting one. I remember that. Thing is, you would only need to know the amp draw of the motor if you were doing something relatively advanced. Which begs the question, how clever do you have to be before you can think 'GOOGLE, THAT ARE TEH ANSWER!!1!!'.
I needed to know a little while ago too, so I went to Tower hobbies and looked at the tech notes. Bang, there in black and white and took 5 seconds.
There is one other thing I'd like to note though, in that the first post to that question gave the answer. There were then 8 more posts disputing it until someone actually posted a link to the motor manual ages later (which was Druss). You people do make it difficult on yourselves don't you?
