I don't think anyone (company) in their right mind would bin a program as technically good as FSOne. What a waste that would be. I'm sure that when things are looking better, they can invest the manpower and resources necessary to produce new sim models that are up to the same physics standards as the existing ones.

But regardless I'm to this day glad I chose this sim.

Surely they would want to release new Hangar 9 and E-flite sim planes (in part to promote those products), but until they can be certain when that will happen, you can see why they can't go saying something prematurely. They must know that they cannot go for very long like this before sales dry up entirely despite how good the sim itself is.
