Paul,
To be honest, I have no idea how I'm going to mount the cowl but I'll figure something out when I start working on it.
As for the hollow tubes, the bolts holding the CF tubes to the elevator will keep the brass tubes from sliding out since the bolts are just beyond the ends of the brass tubes.
Get those painted pictures posted!
