Having a goal in mind should help to keep me both motivated and focused at the task in hand. I'm hoping to remove at least 8oz from the fuse, 2-3oz by changing out the aluminum landing gear for carbon fiber and hopefully 2-3oz from changing from alum to a CF Wing tube.

I thought about removing some foam between the ribs of the wing. Not sure how much this will save from each wing panel, any guess's? can I safely remove foam all the way to the tip? or will that allow the tip of the wing to twist to much?
