im guessing RC universe would not have as many people on profile as the profile bro forum right? anyways. alphapilot, how did you mount that motor on to there? what is the total weight with the lipo?
It's ALPApilot (Air Line Pilot's Association) but, no big deal.[8D]

To mount the motor I went to Lowes and got a piece of aluminum right angle stock and cut it to the correct length, bolted them to the fuse and then bolted on the motor. Pretty darn simple and sturdy. For the lipo, I cut off the top part of the fuse and attached a plywood tray with wood screws on to the motor mount. Also, there are velcro straps and heavy duty velcro on the tray to hold the lipo.

AUW is 4.5lbs. Not quite "Bro" power but it gets the job done. A slightly larger motor and a five cell would be freakin awesome though.
