Wow. Model Aviation came through big time - they first sent me a scan, but I was really hoping for something worthy of display and asked how to find an original. Two days later a clean copy of July 77 arrived in the mail. Thank you AMA/Model Aviation!

I was looking over the model yesterday and it is really magnificent. There are a couple of tears in the wing, and I was delighted to find that Mr. Nelitz had thoughfully provided the details of the paint mixtures he used. Might still be a job matching up perfectly, but we'll have a go. Assuming I can find the products.. you might see me back here again whining .
