The years 76-77 old?
Yeap, I'm[X(] getting old... been flying RC for 5-6 years by then.
Ah.. the ol' Chipmunk. I have 13 hours of Air Experience, all done about the age 14 in the Air Force Cadets.
Wonderfull time, bucket seat, 'chute dangleling between you legs, control column infront of my face. I was small, couldn't see out of the canopy side... even sitting on the chute!
An experience. As was vomiting into a standard RAF rubber mask during aerobatics... and the, having to swallow it back down.
The RAF pilots where very kind to us young boys by the ground crew killed anyone who vomited into the aircraft!
Of course the pilots had great fun trying to make this happen.
