Default Parents, how to convince them...

Do what I do..tell your wife....whoops. sorry MOM & DAD
1. You picked it up for a good deal. Some new guys at the field was selling it for pennys on the dollar. I couldn't pass a deal of a lifetime up.
2. I traded out some work for it. "Hey honey it only cost me time, not money..)
3. Tell him you bought is used. Saved $75
4. Try to sneak it in the house. My wife doesn't fly. But somehow she knows exactly which planes, I have or had. and when a new one shows up. Try reasons 1 or 2.
I learned all these tricks from my wife. She use to shop all the time. I modified them to help you out.

OR USE WHAT MY WIFE SAYS TO ME

5. When she has on a new dress. "This old thing. I have had this forever." Meanwhile the price tag is hanging off of it. I play stupid so I can bring home another plane without her saying anything.
6. Or she says. Look what I bought. (IMO something we don't need) I bought it on sale for 40% off plus a coupon. I saved us $50 by buying this onsale.

I don't recommend these. trust me most of the time they don't work for me either. As my wife will tell you. I get busted 8 out off 10 times trying to bring home a new plane or motor. You think you mom and Dad are tuff. Wait until you finish college, get married, have a kid. Then you will think mom and dad were easy.

the airplane or drugs idea is pretty funny. After you wake up from you dad knockin' you out from that comment. I would try to figure out a way to get the Top cap arf. I have it w/ a YS 63 on it. flies like a dream you won't be disappointed.
