Steven, (Shortman) why doesn't your dad want you to get it? You are going to pay for it right? I know you have good grades, but thats not the point. Maybe your dad doesn't want you getting a plane so soon, because you haven't even flown your Somethin' Extra yet. You've been building it for a long time now, and maybe once you have flown it a bit, then you should get the top cap you want. This is just my 2 cents, but both of us are only 15 yrs. old. (actually your 14), but my point is that we are going to be in this hobby for a long time. We have the rest of our lives ahead of us to build and fly, so right now use what you have.
