"If you read the Cal Mod, there is a 4-40 pressure tap placed on the engine mounting lugs. That supplies the needed fuel pressure.. Just don't use a metal tank as they can't take the "crank" pressure."

thanks for the reply, I read that part, I was just thinking out loud as to why my boat would go out and run about a lap and a half, and die.. I kept thinking it was in the carb adjustment, or the fact that it has been so cold around here..
I am thinking I may be better off to try and restrict the exhaust back like it was originally, since I have a stock carb.. and since the hull really doesn't handle much power anyway..
If I do the 4-40 pressure tap, then I would need more mods to the carb, right?
