If your crystal is not dual conversion and it seems to be working then your receiver is not dual conversion either. Many new receivers are not dual conversion so it would help if you said what exactly you are talking about. E.g. most JRs are single conversion, most of the new Jeti/GWs small receivers are single conversion etc
