I'm working on my Leopard 2A6. I've been following the directions painting as I go. Now the problem is when gluing parts, I know that the glue won't stick to painted surfaces. Basically, is not going to "weld" the plastic....

I've sanded off the paint and glued certain pieces on. However, some parts seem very difficult to do this to. So, I was wondering how well CA glue will work on the parts? Will it hold up? It would seem that the "welded" parts would be much better. But is this a suitable work around?
