Default RE: GP GEE BEE

Hi!
My four year old Great Planes GEE BEE R-2 is fully aerobatic with a 15cc (.90) MVVS two stroke swinging a 15x4 W APC prop. This is the best prop for the GEE BEE R-2 if you fly with a 15cc two stroke. A 26cc MVVS gas engine or anything like it is going to add too much weight. My modified/lightened GB weights 5000g ...and is still too heavy!!!

The problems with the GB is stalling at landing!! Differential ailerons (more up than down ) seems to help slightly. Going to try to twist the wingtips this spring and see what happens.
I have been flying pylon racing for 25 years...still this plane is a hand full on landings.
