Default "user is typing a message"
A neat feature may be to display if one is typing a response (like on an instant chat) , Maybe is not possible to detect ?

At the top it showed
Users viewing this topic: cat samich

and right below it might be nice to display one "typing" kinda like as soon as I click my cursor into the reply box.
