The center diff makes the truck turn better. Instead of the standard 2 diffs, most truggies have 3 diffs. Its more about handling and for racing. If you are just bashing you can do without the center diff. I put 20,000 diff oil in mine and its handling a little better the way I like it. I might try 30,00 and see what happens.
