RE: Fly Eagle F-15 (1/9) Building Thread
Thanks Eagle Driver & Bob,
I spoke to James, he said he would send me 2 new cylinders. I asked kind of boldly whether there's a good chance they would leak too, he assured me that issue was fixed. We will see.
On another QC note, anybody WITH THE ORIGINAL (IN PRODUCTION A YEAR AGO) , NOT NEW ADVANCED MODEL F-15's had any structural integrity issues regarding cracks in wings? wings splitting in 2 in flight? Bulkheads or formers falling out? Or in general having concerns over structural integrity and airworthiness of their aircraft?
Without dropping names, a gentleman who USED to be a rep and is still a dealer in other brand name jets told me to plan on making my tiger meet 11 month old model (with 8 flights total!) a display-only model out of structural concerns while the original owner whom I bought the plane from who built the plane and I trust very much told me he never doubted the airworthiness and is not sure how much weight to give the first person. Not trying to compare their remarks, just want to know if anybody has seen any evidence to support either side STRUCTURALLY speaking?
TIA
Shaz
