We are in the process of writing a new manual for the EV5U that explains the programming sequence a bit better however, for the moment you can download the EV5U-PRO Manual [link=http://www.airpowernet.com/upload_img/usemanual/EVSD-5U-PRO.pdf]HERE[/link] which provides a bit more information on programming. With the EV5U, you must enter the programming into the program card with a battery attached and once you have completed the program, then plug the gear lead from the valve into the card to upload the program data into the valve. The blue "connection" light will illuminate, when the light goes out, program upload has been completed.
