Just a little info, as chemie and I have been helping each other out. I did a pre-liminary CG check on mine last night by temporarly "attaching" my rec with doubled up masking tape to the servo tray. Then tried to balance by moving the battery around. The plane is way tail heavy. My guess is from the 2-56 wire control rods and sullivan tail wheel that I used. I am probably going to have to put the battery under the fuel tank, and maybe mount the rec on the floor. But, I still have to mount my wheel pants (not a lot of weight, but should help) and do a final CG check. You might want to check out your CG before you mount your rec.
