I suppose you could if you wanted to spend that kind of money on an engine for a .60 size plane.... And what you have to do to the plane to use gas is much different than it is for glow, probably more complex and more costly.

Gas engines are usually used in larger planes that hav eboth the room and the need for such an engine.

Now that's not my opinion because opinions are usually based on some fact. The only fact I can give you is that they are quite a bit more expensive than glows of the same size... yeah, even four strokes or OS engines.. and the rest, well, that's more of informed guesswork.
