I used the setup here to start off with(basically the same as in the T-rex manual) http://www.trextuning.com/setuptrex.php
then tweak to suit,for example if heli bobs up and down(yo yo effect) when your up out of prop wash (3 to 4ft up) then raise the pitch curve slightly.
if the tail bobs up and down or heli feels to mushy raise the throttle curve a bit.Start of with no expo,If you find your consistently over correcting then add about 5% expo for aileron and elevator at a time till ya happy,add about 15 to 20 % expo on the rudder this will help keep the tail still due to thumb/hand shake's on the stick in the early hovers
