Well its not that bad, first make sure your settings on your high and lowend are right, and on your high end, I turn them about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn counter clockwise (righer) when breaking them in, Now when you go to start it make sure your controler and reciever are on!! and you should be able to control the idle by the throdle trim! then go for there!
