The BF109 is not a real good match for a gasser. It is already fairly heavy and needs no nose weight. With my OS 1.60 mounted in the nose I had to put the battery pack back in the rear to balance. I'm sure it is possible but you would have to use the lightest engine you could find that has enough power. I don't recall anyone brave enough to try it yet.

The CMP 80" Zero is a much better match for a gas engine.
