i agree we need a metal one, but redcat doesn't have one yet. i believe the t2 and lanslide tranny is the same and i've been through one spur gear and the second one i can see is worn quite a bit and wont last to long, luckily i have a spare. Brett ur right u wont need one if u mesh it right AND dont put a lot of strain on the drivetrain from jumping and crashing, and i love to jump my trucks, so a metal spur would be helpfull
