Default OFNA Buggies, so many choices but whats the difference?

I have never owed an OFNA buggy, so I was hoping to tap into the extensive community knowledge base here [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8612447/tm.htm]This[/link] thread on RCU has a number of people recommending the OFNA Hyper 7 TQ Black as a decent quality buggy while still being relatively low dollar. I knew that they were up to the Hyper 9 or so now, and I was curious what the full current line of OFNA buggies was. A quick check on their [link=http://www.ofna.com/kits.html]website[/link] shows nine (9!) RTR buggies and 3 'pro' buggies available in 1/8th scale.

I was just wondering how one company could have such a diverse and large product line. Or are they all that diverse? What's the difference? If you know a thing or two about the relatively huge range of OFNA 1/8th scale buggies, please let me know whats what. I am interested in things like "these two cars are pretty much the same except for X", or "they actually stopped making that design years ago so it's not really for sale", or "this one is super rugged and great for bashing but heavy. That one is a serious racer for reasons A, B, and C. This other one would be good for racing if you were on a tight budget." Whatever, you know.
