RE: vx 18 troubles
Perhamrocks, no offense man, I'm not doubting that you've read otherwise, but it doesn't take a pro to understand that the only thing connecting the servo ( or anything electronic ) to the carb, is a piece of metal wire, that's it. Any and all internal combustion engines run by an igniton source, a fuel source, and an oxygen source. Throttle servos don't provide any of the above. All the thorttle sevo does is move the arm, in which opens and closed the carb barrell. Well the carb barrel is stopped at the proper opening with the idle needle. The idle needle, and the idle needle alone controls where the carb barrel stops, not the arm at which it is attached to....hence the arm is controled by the throttle servo and that's all the throttle servo controls, the barrell will stop where the idle needle is set to for it to stop......therefore....NO.....the Tx and the Rx have absolutely nothing to do with where the idle needle stops the carb barrel at it's opening......
