Well that's a relief, I've got no reason not to buy the transmitter now, so will order one this w/end probably.

Yes, the DSX9 is a re-badged Australian version of the 9303. Once I get the transmitter I will try with just the standard USB interface, as suggested by rajul. If that fails I might be contacting you to see which adapter you ended up using on your 9303.

Either way, I'll follow up for the benefit of other Aussies with DSX9s
