Default RE: New sub-forums for the Jets Forum

Let's see if we can clarify what the issue is, so that Marc can perhaps see whether there is a convenient way to address it.

Right now it's only 2 clicks to get to the wanted ads ; Marc could add a link to make it one, but there again you guys could simply bookmark the URL after clicking twice the first time, so that thereafter it's only one click for you anyway... so I'm wondering whether it really is an "I'm too lazy to click twice, once is all my lazy ***** is willing to do" deal that's the problem, or whether there is something deeper, that isn't being clearly explained for Marc to understand and therefore address.

Is the problem perhaps that the wanted ads in their current style are too cumbersome to place ? Too many pages to go through in the 'placing an ad' process, and people really want something more like the regular forum, so that placing a wanted ad takes just a few seconds instead of a few minutes, and feels more 'natural' since it's done exactly as we make all of our main-forum posts ? ?

And/or is the issue the ability to use certain 'tools' that the forums have, that the marketplace doesn't – e.g. Sean frequently mentions 'subscribe' … ? If that's the problem, would Marc adding a 'subscribe' option in the marketplace (if that's possible) address the problem ?

If none of the above …. what exactly are you guys really asking for ? I've always found Marc to be open to user input if you can explain the issue clearly – he may not always agree, as e.g there can be adverse side-effects that the person asking for a change may not be aware of – but he will at least listen.
