Does Flat Monocote split easier than gloss?!!!
I've got two planes covered in flat cream monocote. Each one was covered about a year apart and the covering was purchased at different times when working on the planes. One is a scratch built Pitts Special and the other is my Kadet SR. I've noticed the covering cracking at wierd places. a lot of it was on the underside of the horizontal stab but in a place where typically grass or weeds wouldn't poke through it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with flat covering having a tendancy to split or crack easier than gloss?
