The problem is that Fiberglass in the true sence is not what CMP and many of the suppliers are useing in there WW2 planes . Look at the differance in a KMP plane vs a CMP .
I am not a snob and own many CMP planes , and just recently purchased my first KMP corsair . There is a differnace in the glass used and it responce to direct sunlight .
So to answer the question ,yes glass is good , but quality is key to get true fiberglass features and benifits
