You are correct they are 1.2v per cell but when fully charges they will peak at around 1.4v per cell. I know this have I have frequetly charged my 7cell 8.4v NiMHs past 8.4v. They won't stay there for real long but they will get there, you will not that I do mention that the speed will drop once the pack gets down to normal operating voltage. When I said normal operating voltage I was referring to the 1.2v per cell.
My 6 cells are peaking at 9volts. Is that ok or normal? I'm using an AC/DC Intellipeak charger and 2 different Duratrax batteries. One is 3800mah the other 4200mah.
