Dual A123 two cell batteries off Fromeco Kodiak switch's, no regulators to go wrong and a constant 6.6 volt supply, top up re-charge whilst re-fueling, KISS is where its at.

I don't own any A123 cells yet. But all reports from friends & user's are positive. Possibly the best batteries available!

Side Note for investor types: The batteries, which the company says last longer and are more powerful than existing lithium-ion batteries, are already being used in power tools. In its S-1 filing, i.e. IPOing soon!!, A123 Systems said it anticipates the portable power market to grow from $411 million to $1.1 billion in 2012
