Default RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD

ORIGINAL: NoFlaps

I'm in Louisville, KY, altitude/ air density has never been an issue for us here.
The box on the CMP 109 says it requires a 1.80-1.80 engine...I have an MVVS 1.6 gasoline engine that looks like a good mate for this plane.

- 1 cylinder
- Displacement: 1.600 cubic inches
- Bore: 1.299 (in.)
- Stroke In: 1.181 (in.)
- High RPM: 9000
- 3.750 bhp @ 9000 RPM
- Weight (no muffler): 37.04 oz.

Anyone have thoughts on how good of a match that is for this plane ?
That motor will be more then enough. Thats more horsepower then a saito 220(3.6hp)....which is larger then the 1.80 size the box recommends.
