RE: "Nosen Cessna 310 Club"
Something I did to my 310 was install a couple of Ace strobe light kits in the wing tip tanks. I had a couple of those unbuilt strobe kits and thought it would be a nice addition. I made a small p.c. board to mount the strobe lamp on, as the strobe was set right on the main board. The main board and battery are in the middle of the tank, with an accesss hatch with the power swith on it on the side of the tank. I cut the nose of the tank off and used it for a means to shape the mold I made to cast the clear lenses. They each strobe at their own set pace (I tried to speed this timing up a little, but didn't have any luck) but even at the preset speed they flash, they still look nice, especially on a cloudy or dull day.
