Now you have see it all!

I consider myself knowledgable are the TIGER 1, but now I am very confused and come to you guys for help.

I "was" doing TIGER 1331; Wittman's at Kursk. I recieved my decals by Peddinghaus, but they look nothing like the decals of the same unit from Elite Armor.

I have researched TIGERS IN COMBAT II, and just about every TIGER book I own, as well as three hours on the net.

Here is what I found. Base Color is Dunkengleb (that checks with all ref. material.) Now the problems One ref. says the tanks were painted with brown stripes, one says green, and one says it was striped with the basic Panzer gray!!


I went with the last. Now the decals. The set from Peddinghaus cover almost the entire side of the turret. They are not like the unit numbers in two of the refs.

The Elite Armor decals are the right color, but for me the wrong tank.

Any thoughts?
