No the antenna was all the way out, and in its tube up into the air.

Actually my sons 50$ crappy rc car runs the exact same frequency, down to the 1000th.

From what ive read, AM is about as low as you can go in rc remotes, but i will definitely replace the crystals.


Yesterday i managed to get the car out of range, and it took off at full throttle, luckily it landed on its tail and rolled onto its top after hitting a bump and sailing 5 feet into the air. If it landed on its wheels it would just take off again. Im off to go buy two replacement dog bones, and a failsafe after that one =)
