why Aerogloss would not be a good choice?
Aerogloss is a Butyrate dope, and is not what one needs or wants for a lightweight tissue covered model. It does not have taughtning properties either. Nitrate Dope is a Nitrocullulose derivative, and can be bought in the taughtning form, and is also very good to adhere the covering material to the framework. You can apply Butyrate Dope over Nitrate, but not the other way around. I only cover with Cloth and Dope. I have been using it for almost 60 years, and still have not found anything better with which to cover a model.
