Default RE: ductedfans.com

We would just like to clarify a few things.

1) Ductedfans.com's policy is that we do not charge for anything, even custom work or special orders until they are ready to ship. (As with any rule, there are a very few, less than a handful, of exceptions to this rule, and they generally are with transactions with other businesses on special items).

2) Dr. Shawn R. Jones never placed an order with DF. However, he did make a claim with the BBB, as he pointed out, stating falsely that he did place an order. (For the record, the BBB is a private organization that tries to make money off of real businesses. We do not answer to them. They have no real authority, and, they do nothing to help businesses with anything. They are a club or click, just a stamp you can put on your business if you pay them for that.)

3) So, as you might have guessed, Ductedfans.com has not "taken", "collected", "charged", "appropriated" one cent from SRJones.

4) Dr Jones e-mailed for information (which we provided) but he never placed an order. We provided Dr. Jones with the information he requested and he did not place an order, however, a hobby store e-mailed also asking for a discount as a store, coincidentally for exactly the same items that were discussed with Dr. Jones. After clarifying that it was for Dr. Jones, we declined to offer a dealer discount, as we do not offer a discount for a one-off sale. According to our policies, to be considered for a dealer discount, multiples of an item must be ordered. It's not fair to order only one setup as a dealer and expect a discount (we follow this rule ourselves when dealing with others, we have always paid for all samples and purchased more than one of an item to be considered as a dealer).

5) We do not have an order with Dr. Shawn R. Jones, but there is a hobby store that has one on order. There have been some real shifts in our staff since some negative, unfounded, postings in February and we have been making adjustments. We will not rush and deliver sub-par product. Of course, we are here to make money, and we don't make any unless we deliver, but rushing and sending out something that is not the way we would want it to be does nothing for anyone. It just creates headaches and dissatisfaction that has an actual dollar value attached to it.

6) For the record, in case anyone is wondering...No, we have not charged any money to the hobby store that has an order for this item.

7) It is known by all that we carry the best EDF jet products in the world. That means something to us and we strive to maintain that level of quality.

P.S. There is a power aspect to being on the internet. A person who would be a customer feels they have power to go on and make any claim they want to. This is regardless of telling the whole story, an accurate version of the story, or including pertinant information. This is all done in an effort to have the business see this ability to disrupt their flow in an effort to have the business "pay them off" in the form of additional discounts or special consideration. It is ridiculous that as a "customer" or not in this case, one can come on and say whatever they want to, regardless of fact. And, the business, on the other hand, is expected to bend over and give in. Dr. Jones knows this first hand as he states in an email to us "I did not intend to hurt you", although we never sent him an email saying that he had "hurt" us, so where did he get this idea? Many see it as wrong of a business to act to explain or defend itself. I don't know why. Usually, when someone lets a claim go unchallenged, people would assume it is true and the party just wants it to go away. But, when it is untrue, and the defamed party tries to state the facts or say his side, it is somehow just seen as a bunch of words. I can't clearly state what I want to because I am attached to a business. I must walk on egg shells, so as not to offend anyone, even the person who started this post while relying on untruths, (like the biggest one that he had an order with us...NOT). Dr. Jones, by filing an untrue claim with the BBB, and following up here with more untruths, halftruths, and suggestions, how could you realisitically expect to have a favorable outcome and you getting closer to what you desire? That does not make any sense to me.

I do not want to take anyone's money. What I want is a fair exchange of product for compensation, be that money or whatever.

It is ok to buy from Ductedfans.com. We want your business. Ductedfans.com is a great company. These games are just too much. We have a lot of exciting, high quality products available for delivery. Happy flying! See you at the upcoming jet events.
