I think this is a great thread...

This is my solo picture in 1975, I was 14..... My mom had to drive me to the field. This was also the first RC plane that I built, don't remember the name of the kit but it had a K&B 40 and I flew it with a Expert 5 channel. it took me two years to save my paper route money... The motor was around 50 bucks and the radio cost me 200....
