Default RE: How do you create battle damage to Tigers Fenders/mudguards ?

pattoncommander - steelfist,
thanks for the kind words gents. I try to learn something new on each project, so everything ends up as an experiment. Once I found this metal I have found numerous usages for it, as it is quite versatile.

It comes in several thickness' and as I mentioned before it's available in aluminum, brass and copper. I have the aluminum, but I think I'm gonna buy some brass or copper next, to see if I have any success soldering it.

I've included a few pics of additional projects I've added realistic detail with using this thin metal.

The first two are of a damaged front fender on my SU-85 conversion ( I also added a bent fender brace made of .040 styrene strip)

I also did the exhaust shroud on my T1 (Like the fenders I used the stock plastic part as a skeleton or frame to keep the mounting points)

A few more pics to follow, this site doesn't like my pics even though they've been optimized.
