40" monitor? Or are you using a TV? I had no idea they made 40" monitors...The 28" my dad uses seems rather large to me, I like 22's...But currently, I'm using a 15" laptop as screen 1, and a 17" monitor as screen 2.
It's a TV. Most LCD's have a standard VGA computer input. Though I think Westinghouse made a 42" monitor (its just a TV without a tuner). Mine might as well be a monitor as I do not use the tuner in it. I have Satellite. The large screen really helps immerse one in a video game. Program windows do not have to be as large to view whats in them, and that allows you to have more program windows open at the same time - necessary for my home office. I can do with one screen what most people use two for. Not to mention my PS3 is also hooked up. Love those Blu-Ray movies!!
