I am trying to find a recever togo with my mp8000. it is on channel 51 72.810 gold tag. (8 channel single stick) I tried a jr -R720ul but it did not recognize the transmiter. does any one know what tye of modulation the mp8000 uses? if you want to respond direct my email is [email protected] or on this forum thank you.
If the mp8000 is FM, it is negative shift and any of the Futaba or Hitec FM receivers will work. JR is positive shift and will not work. If the transmitter is AM I don't know of any currently being sold. You would have to look on RCU or Ebay for one. Mine was originally AM and I found a FM rf deck which I had Radio South install on a switch so that the transmitter can switch back and forth between AM and FM. I got the rf deck from Jensen Jet Models at:
