Ken is correct to a point. Some of the Futaba transmitters are able to use PCM or standard receivers. My 7c and 9c will do either or. You can change the receiver type in programming when you are programming a new model. As Ken stated, some of the older PCM transmitters that do not have any model memory would more than likely not be able to use anything other than a PCM receiver. The channel will always stay the same no matter what mode the receiver is. Good Luck, Dave
