Hi Crash, I just finished my ARF Knife. I haven't had time to fly it yet, weather and home projects are in the way. Later this week should be good for the first flight! I did'nt use the pull - pull cables on my Knife (on elevator) for the same reasons you found. They did'nt seem free enough for me. I put a Sullivan push rod set up on it and it works great. I have about 1.5 inches of up elevator on high rates. I just sewed the push rod outer tube to the side of the fuse with regular thread. I used a heavy needle and punched through the fuse sides and went around the tube about ten times, in three equal spaced areas. Then I hit the stiches with thin CA. It won't flex or go anywhere!
