I have been flying over a year now. I have a Hobbico trainer, a Ultra Stik, and a Cherokee which I have not flown yet. I have had a few crashes. I flew a Yak 54 on a buddy box, but I did not land or takeoff.
A few planes you might want to consider if you want to go gas are maybe a Sig 4-star 1.20, a GP giant Big Stik or a giant Super Sportster. Those would be more in line with your experience level. There could be other options out there too but those are all I can think of off the top of my head.
