Bud Nosen is a member of my flying club, Bay City Flyers in Land-O-Lakes, Florida. So please don't misunderstand this post as knocking Bud's trainer. A friend of mine has one of Bud's trainers hanging in his hangar. It is a very large airplane that would probably struggle with a 60 size engine. Most, as mentioned above, probably used larger engines. A modern day plane that would be similar and available is the Bruce Tharpe Engineering, BTE, Flyin' King.
