Default RE: Ziroli Bearcat engine

So last friday the tailwheel retract arrived from Sierra Precision. Still waiting on the main wheels and tailwheel from Glennis. Thats pretty much all Im waiting for. Ive had the itch to start the build-I always wait until I get everything I need before I start, but I have what I need to get underway.

I started building Friday night and by Sunday night I completed the fuselage, fin and rudder. I also installed the tailwheel retract and actuator and checked the function. Works perfectly (it should for 150 bucks[:@]) The fuselage is nice and straight and CAVERNOUS. I love all the room in these g.s. kits. The Ziroli Bearcat is super easy to build-and goes very quickly. The G80 Zenoah twin fits perfectly in the cowl. Thats a perfect engine for this bird-now I know why so many guys use that powerplant. Anyhow, thats my update.......
